The Washington "Assault Weapons" Ban (HB1240) reclassifies numerous rifles, pistols, and shotguns as "Assault Weapons" based on specific characteristics.
We are prohibited from delivering "Assault Weapons" to Washington State Residents.

The Bill defines an "Assault Weapon" as:
- The specifically listed thirty firearms regardless of the company that produces or manufacturers the firearm which can be found in the text of the Bill.
- A semiautomatic center fire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and one or more of another eight features like a threaded barrel or a folding or telescoping stock.
- A semiautomatic, center fire rifle that has a fixed magazine capable of accepting more than 10 rounds.
- A semiautomatic, center fire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and one or more of 4 different features such as a threaded barrel or second hand grip.
- A semiautomatic shotgun that has any one of seven listed features such as a thumbhole stock or a revolving cylinder shotgun.
- A semiautomatic rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches making SBRs a prohibited firearm under the Bill.
- A semiautomatic pistol with a threaded barrel, or a magazine outside of the grip. (Pistols with threaded barrels can be ordered or transferred, however we cannot deliver the pistol complete with barrel. We offer a service to ship the barrel to an out-of-state address for $29.99)
- A conversion kit, part, or combination of parts from which an assault weapon can be assembled (meaning to fit together the parts) or from which a firearm can be converted into an assault weapon if all the parts are in the possession of the same person.

Washington State Patrol SAFE Background Check System fee

BLUF: Starting November 1st, background checks regardless of type (Pistols, SARs, Bolt-action rifles, Frames, etc.) will cost $35 per item, PLUS a Washington State Patrol (WSP) background check fee of $18 per transaction.
RCW 43.43.580 establishes a centralized point-of-contact firearms background check program within the WSP. With this change, per
RCW 9.41.1135, all background checks will now be processed by the WSP Firearms Background Division.
Unfortunately that means that 2A will be migrating to WSP’s SAFE background check system starting on November 1st. Background checks will cost an additional $18 (WSP’s fee) per transaction, and the amount of processing effort is now the same for all firearm types.
Online orders at buy2a.com will see an automatic $18 WSP SAFE fee as part of any transaction which includes a firearm.
For example:
If you were to transfer 1 pistol, the total cost would be (35+18) = $53
If you were to transfer 1 pistol, and 1 SAR the total cost would be (35+35 +18) = $88
If you were to purchase 2 pistols from buy2a.com, the cost would be = $18
Additionally, instant background checks will no longer be available for Shotguns, Frames, Receivers, etc., as all transactions must be processed through SAFE. Total processing times very likely will be the same as Pistols and SARs (1-2 weeks).
We are as unhappy about this change as you are. Please consider supporting political candidates that work to protect your 2nd amendment rights, and oppose the unconstitutional “taxation†of lawful gun owners.
Washington State ban on "High Capacity" Magazines

*** Washington State ban on "High Capacity" Magazines ***
After July 1 2022 Washington State’s ban on the importation of “high capacity†magazines prohibits us from transferring or selling magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds to Washington State residents.
Not all firearms are available in a 10 round magazine package. You still have the option of purchasing guns which include “high capacity†magazines, giving you the full-range of Washington-legal firearms to choose from. However, after July 1 2022 we are prohibited by law from delivering the “high capacity†magazine portion of your order. The firearm itself can still be transferred to you as before.
Should you purchase a gun with “high capacity†magazines, the following options are available:
1. Surrender the magazines (compensation will not be provided).
2. We will ship pistol magazines to an out-of-state US address for $29.99 (must fit within a medium USPS flat-rate shipping box).
Be aware that once a firearm arrives, and the “high capacity†magazines are separated from the order, storage of magazines will not be provided. If shipping magazines out of the state, the recipient’s address must be made available at the time that transfer paperwork is started. You can fill and print our
shipping form prior to your visit to save some time.

General Firearm Sales
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Please be cognizant of state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, and 21 or older to purchase a Semiautomatic "Assault" Rifle (SAR) per WA State rules.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.
Transfer & Storage Policy
By authorizing a shipment to us, you are explicitly agreeing to our shipping and handling process which includes, but is not limited to:
1. Our arranged pickup process and schedule with various carriers
2. The opening of packages to verify contents and disposal of excess shipping materials
3. Opening of firearms cases and containers in order to read serial numbers
4. Returning items to shippers requires either payment of shipping fees or a providing a pre-paid shipping label
5. Guns which are abandoned will be assessed a storage fee of $25/week. When the storage fee exceeds fair market value or stated invoice value (whichever is lower), the gun will become the property of 2A Industries.

Online Price & Description Errors
Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. Order Fulfillment
Orders are shipped promptly by our distributors within 3 -5 business days. Orders can take up to 1 - 2 weeks to arrive depending on the item, and the shipping service used. You will be notified by email once your item has physically arrived in the store.
Returns/Cancellations
For firearms,
contact us for returns and change orders. Returns and change orders will be assessed a 25% restocking fee from the total invoiced amount, back to your original method of payment.

BEFORE making your purchase.
For all other items, please
contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less a 25% restocking fee from the total invoiced amount, back to your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.
We do not permit the return of the following products:
   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
   3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
Please work directly with the product manufacturer for Warranty repairs or replacements.
All orders are considered special-orders and as such, do not qualify for Credit Card chargeback protections. In the event of an attempted, unsuccessful Credit Card chargeback, you will be assessed an additional 25% Credit Card chargeback fee.
Outstanding balances owed may be charged to existing payment methods or sent to collections.
Consumer Data Privacy

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.
The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.
